Day 4.  Cozumel Mexico.

I woke up about 7:30 again today, just as we were pulling into Cozumel.  I went to the windjammer for breakfast and got back to the room as Malissa and Alex were getting up.  We went up to the pool deck while they ate then headed ashore.  We've found the one thing we really like to do in Cozumel: Passion Island.  It's a private beach and the trip there includes food and drinks.  We went there last spring and it's just a great place to relax.  They have paddleboats and kayaks, soccer and volleyball, and even sequeway's you can rent.  When we got to the pier, the sea was a bit rough and we had some trouble getting on the boat.  Actually they cracked the side of the boat while we were standing there and it was kinda scary getting on.  It reminded us of what we now refer to as the "Cozumel death tender" from a couple of years ago, but that's another story for another time.  We finally got onto the boat and made the 40-minute ride to Passion Island.  Alex and I built an awesome sandcastle and we had a good lunch (I had a little bit of everything - rice, mahi-mahi, chicken, chips, cookies, candy, and several beers to wash it down).  After lunch, Malissa and Alex played in a balloon toss contest.  They came in third.  After that they played soccer for a while.  Alex went off, then, to where they had a piņata for the kids, then he came back and I buried him in the sand.  I tried to sculpt big muscles for him in the sand, but that didn't work out very well.  At that point, it was time to leave and we went back to our cabin and took showers.  I went to the gym while Alex and Malissa were cleaning up, so I got that out of the way today.  I was tired after all of that so I took a short nap, then it was time for dinner.  After dinner, of course, we headed to the casino.  I didn't do very well and lost my allowance fairly early.  I wasn't feeling real well, so I made an early night of it and headed to bed.
